Music can be used as a vehicle to tell stories, or help move along a story. The right soundtrack can really increase the pazzaze of a movie. With the recent success of the Guardians Of The Galaxy soundtrack, we decided to put a list together of the best underrated soundtracks, which you can read at Guru Rock

The Stone Roses; one of the great city of Manchesters most underrated bands. Not as rock ‘n’ roll as Oasis, or as lyrically outlandish as The Smiths, The Roses have their own genius which is almost a perfect mix of the two. Read more here

Last week saw the release of the long awaited debut from Birmingham indie-pop quintet Superfood – ‘Don’t Say That’. They have risen out of Birmingham’s sometimes wavering music scene to cement themselves as one of Britain’s brightest indie bands. With serious anthems, crowd favourites and indie club dance-floor fillers, they kick you up the arse to get you out there, have adventures, and enjoy yourself.

Space, it turns out, makes its own music. Multiple space crafts recorded the sounds of different areas of the cosmos all in the range of human hearing. The results are haunting, beautiful and either the sound of spaces infinite loneliness or something more…
